This is Aarron Higgins he is 10years old . Aarron has Alagilles Syndrome and recieved his new liver in dec 2016. He was very ill afterwards due to bowel complications and spent 11 weeks in PICU in Kngs in total 3 and a half months in hospital. This will be Aarrons 3rd transplant games and has worked hard to put weight on and become fitter than he was last year. Aarron is taking part in the Long Jump, Obstacle Race,50m Sprint , and the football. He amazingly won gold in the football last year He is very excited as he had an amazing time last year making new friends and being part of the team. He will also take part in the 3K donor run. Aarron is very determined and loves to win so no matter what position he comes his determination will get him over the finish line . Although from Glasgow he will very proudly represent Kings. He is a real live superhero who always battles back every time.. Aarrons mum Jacqueline Higgins Auntie Sandra Cappie , littlest sister Sophia Paterson and big cousin Ben Cappie will all be going with Aarron and will take part in the sports hall athletics , 3k donor run and the football . Ben also won gold last year in the adult football . We can’t thank people enough for continuing to support Aarron every year to go to this life changing event . Aarron will go back down to Kings in Sep this year for his 35 th surgery for stomach muscle closure he would love to be able to take his medals with him to show all his favourite nurses and doctors .
