Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This year I am facing my BIGGEST fear and jumping out of a plane to help animals. Those of you who know me will know that I wouldn't do this for any other reason and I've set myself an ambitious target to make as much of a difference to as many lives as I can. Some of you may be asking why.....
I have recently been asked to become the Leader for Greater London for a charity called IAPWA (International Aid for the Protection and Welfare of Animals). This voluntary role will involve me raising funds to support the projects they run and the thousands of animals they help every year.....and this is where I really need your help.
In Borneo, where their largest project is based, IAPWA are the lifeline for thousands of stray dogs who would otherwise have no-one to care for them. As well as running large neutering campaigns to prevent pups from being born on the streets, they provide them with veterinary care, find loving homes for them and run education sessions to create a better future for animals throughout the Country. But they can only do this with support from people who care and I really hope you'll help me to make a difference. Just £3 can vaccinate a dog to potentially save it's life from deadly diseases rife in the area they work. Just £5 can help provide food for a stray. £10 can neuter a dog to prevent hundreds of pups from being born.....Just £10 saving so many lives!
For their work there, they won Charity of the Year in the UK in 2015 and they do an amazing job as a small committed team and I'm hoping that with your help we can make an even bigger difference.
They also work to end the dog meat trade in the Philippines where they conduct raids to recue dogs destined for slaughter. They help dogs in Romania where they struggle in temperatures of less than -25. They support elephants, rhinos, lions.....We have the potential to save so many lives and I'd really appreciate your support to help me.
More information about them can be found on www.iapwa.org and please like their facebook page www.facebook.com/iapwa.
Your support would be so appreciated. Lets do something amazing together and make a difference!
Thank you so much :)
