Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Well, after many years of applying, the day has finally come for me to tackle the london marathon! 

Already have a mix of nerves and excitement, but can't wait to take on the 26.2 miles, which, as my lovely sister assures me, is a hugely long way.

I will be running for Cancer Research Uk, in memory of my dad, who lost his fight with pancreatic cancer 11 years ago, but I am sure is watching this with a mixture of pride and laughter.  Still not convinced running is my thing, but will be trying to make him, my family and friends very proud on the day.

This is a really important charity to me, so please dig deep to help my training motivation!
