Last year our niece was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at 5 years old.  The amount of education, resources and support families need to learn how to manage Diabetes shouldn't be underestimated.  I'm running in aid of Diabetes UK to help fund research, increase general awareness and hopefully create more resources to help families as they learn to live with a child, or loved one's diagnosis.
