Taking on The Big Ride for Africa & beyond is a huge endurance challenge, however, by taking on the challenge we hope to  help to transform the lives of children and their families living in some of the worlds toughest places. 

This challenge the Big Ride for Africa & beyond, though tough, it is my tiny effort to carry on the work started by our  late brother and uncle Shane who was instrumental in setting up the Lessons for Life Charity now merged with the wonderful Street Child!  Street Child has been helping vulnerable children in Kabul Afghanistan  for many years & while staff safety is paramount, they are determined to continue their humanitarian work and with a focus on unaccompanied children.

 Every year this cycle raises a huge amount to help children and communities across Africa and Asia.  Since 2008, Street Child has have helped children to go to school and learn and support families to set up businesses so they can afford the cost of educating their children long-term, and this would not have been possible without all the fantastic support they have received from sponsors of  the  “Big Ride” cycle challenge participants.
