Story
I am PhD student in Archaeology, and my days in Nottingham are comfortably split between warm libraries and cosy swims in the pool.
What is the point of leaving my comfort zone so abruptly, then? Because meningitis is poorly understood and widely underestimated, while more than 2.5 million people were affected globally only this year. To raise awareness, action is needed. And if it is not a big action for me to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in a single expedition!
Anything you donate goes directly to Meningitis Research Foundation (not to fund the trek!)
