Story

Jacob is 8.

He’s set himself a challenge of running a ‘lock down’ marathon. Just over 42km...

He’s chosen to do it to support St Elizabeth Hospice who looked after his ‘Gran’ (great Nan) in her final days.

We are in full support, knowing that charities like these so desperately need support help at the moment, so we will be contributing £5 for every kilometre he runs. He will be hoping to complete this distance in June, wish him luck.

He wants to raise £1,500 (despite his parents trying to convince him to lower his challenge target!...)

UPDATE:

Thank you all for your very generous donations. Jacob‘a challenge has been made that much more difficult... His youngest brother Henry (20 months) has been awaiting a small heart operation. His date was cancelled due. Covid, but his date has come through for just over a weeks time.

As as result we are now not allowed to leave the house. Running in circles is apparently quite difficult, he’s also hurt his foot so your support will help spur him on to finish!

About the charity
