Hi everybody,

On the 19^th September Me and some of my family members are running the Great North Run. I am running for The Rifles Regimental Trust organisation where the funds raised from this appeal are dedicated to support the immediate, medium and long term care of Rifles' Casualties. Many of you may or may not know that the Rifles was the regiment of Luke Farmer, a close friend who sadly died whilst on duty on 15^th January of this year.

I had the pleasure of knowing Luke for many years but we became close friends when I joined Upton Rugby club at 16. From then on we were very good friends and with the rest of the lads would have a beer or two with each other on several occasions in the week. Whether it be to town, down the street or after a game on a Sunday (which eventually lead to going down street). We were good friends and I am proud to say that I knew him and had many a good time with him, so any donations will be very much appreciated.
