Right then.
Over easter me and Ste are going to hitchhike from Sheffield to Budapest, we will have one week to manage this and will be stopping at a mystery halfway city en route. Apart from these two days we will have to find our own accomodation which will most probably be a tent by the side of the road.
The journey is over 1200 miles long passing through six countries but apparently Ste has a GCSE in french so finding lifts should be a doddle.
I am aiming to raise at least two hundred pounds for local charities, the details of which are listed below.
You will be able to find further information and track our progress across the continent on the Bummit website http://www.bummit.co.uk
Any donations will be appreciated, no matter how small. Thanks alot.
Jacob

CATCH 22: this provides a service to 15 to 25 year olds involved in criminal activities, these people have the potential to offend, and they are offered counselling and education. This charity works with their families and communities so that young people become more productive, independent and therefore the whole community benefits. Over the years, they have worked with tens of thousands of people for young people in difficult situations.
FABLE: this charity promotes awareness of epilepsy through education and publicity with money used towards Vagus Nerve Stimulation Therapy which is a treatment for those with epilepsy which cannot be controlled with medicine alone. They support the Epilepsy Information Drop in Centre in Sheffield and help the family of those affected by this condition.
