Story

Hello!

I will be completing the Big Marathon Month Challenge to raise vital funds for Emmaus UK. Emmaus UK supports formerly homeless people by giving them a home, meaningful work in a social enterprise and an opportunity to get back on their feet again. For many who ever experience homelessness one of the biggest obstacles they must overcome is a loss of self-esteem. Emmaus provides people with a stable home and the opportunity to regain their self-worth, making a real contribution to their community.

My Daddy used to work for them and I still want to raise money.  My Daddy is 50 on 6th of May so I am challenging myself to add another 50 miles to my marathon.  So I will be walking, running, swimming, scootering for a total of 76.2 miles.  I love my Daddy so much although he is very cheeky. I am also wanting to do it with Tori, my virtual Marathon buddy.  I am also going to be doing some running with some of my teachers too which I am excited about - hope they can keep up with me!!

Thank you

Jacob xx
