Trevi house are amazing! In 2022 I referred myself to the sunflower center in Plymouth & from the minute I walked in the door they made me feel welcome! I had so much support given to me, I started courses to help me with my mental health & from doing a self-care course for 4 weeks I can finally say NO to people which before I found that difficult & im taking back my time & making sure I can love myself also! I then began a freedom project which helps with DV and different things that popped up in the course I learnt that my previous relationships that I was blind to the bad in the relationships I had, but it’s all about awareness and knowing what is right and what is wrong, I was in temporary accommodation last year and they helped me get advice with debt and to help with the benefits I’m entitled too. I’m now in such a better place and without them I wouldn’t of got through the last year! They help so many woman who walk in the center & i’d love to help them raise money to help other woman in need! 

Every 15 minutes another child is taken into care. In some cases baby is removed within days, before mum has been given a chance to prove she can be a good mum. Sadly, domestic abuse, addiction and mental ill health is on the rise. We’re working to change this.By providing vital services including a residential rehabilitation centre exclusively for mothers and their children plus a women's centre which provides counselling, 1-1 support and accredited courses to help women work through their trauma, we’re transforming despair into hope.
