On Sunday 6 November I am taking part in a very special event in aid of Cancer Research UK.  We have very sadly lost one colleague to this dreadful disease this year, have another who is currently fighting brilliantly to beat it, and have other friends and relatives who have been deeply and personally affected by cancer.  There is no selection process, any family member can be affected.  I feel very privileged to be able run in the New York Marathon and to help this terrific charity, so if you are able to make a donation that would be fantastic.  Any donations, however small, would be really appreciated, together we can make a real difference, so thank you from the bottom of my heart.
