On the 19th of December at 05:00 am Jack Cooper, Jack Garton, Alex van Oudgaarden, and Simon Fenson will start a 20 hour long gameathon in support of Mind - The UK's leading mental health charity.

In the virtual world, we get multiple lives. But in the real one, we've only got the one. Thousands of us are struggling with our mental health, without knowing where to go for help. With one in five people in the UK experiencing suicidal thoughts and one in 15 attempting to take their own life, we have to make sure everyone gets the support they need.

We have been forced into isolation over the last nine months. While completely necessary, let us not ignore the affects it has on mental health and loneliness. Gaming provides many with an escape from everyday struggles, a sense of purpose as well as a much-needed sense of community.
