Story
This June I embarked on probably the most challenging and definitely the most painful thing I've ever done. As part of The Fireflies Ride 2010 I cycled 1000km, over 10 days from Geneva to Cannes to raise money for Leuka.
None of this was be anywhere near as challenging and as painful as the suffering those with Leukaemia and other blood disorders endure on a daily basis. Leuka raises funds to support life-saving research into the causes and treatment of leukaemia and other blood disorders. Its goal is simple : to create a better future for patients both here in the UK and abroad.
Our aim on this, the 10th year of The Fireflies, is to reach £1,000,000 raised over the 10 years it has been going.
So, please, please give all you can for such a worthy cause, and help us reach that goal!
For those who suffer, we ride!
Be sure to check out my blog to see how I'm doing, both in training & on the ride!
