Story
I’m Jack and I’m 29 years old. Welcome to My Big Adventure…I’m walking 476 miles from Kirklington to Cornwall, to raise as much money as possible for the charity “Same You” I’m supporting “Same You” as back in 2018 my dad suffered a
subachronoid haemorrhage resulting in life-changing circumstances for not only my dad but the whole family.
SameYou was founded by Emilia Clarke in 2019, having had two brain haemorrhages by the age of 30 to highlight the lack of brain injury recovery services.
I’m hoping to complete the 476 mile walk in around 30 days all being well of course, and I’ll be carrying with me a back pack weighing in at around 18kg including a tent, sleeping bag, clothing & food & drink supplies. I’d like to thank HECK for their support so far with this journey having helped me with equipment and for allowing me to take the time out of my busy work schedule to take on the challenge.
If you could like and share this story so far I would really appreciate your support. I’m going to try and document as much as I possibly can leading up to & throughout this challenge which I will be embarking on, on 21st October.
