Story
UPDATE (14TH OCTOBER): I've revised my target to £2500 in an effort to raise even more money for the Tynemouth Lifeboat.
If you've read about my matching numbers (see photo gallery) and you're visiting from The Great North Run Facebook page or The Evening Chronicle article, please dig deep and help me reach my new target!
It's VERY much appreciated by both me and the RNLI.
Thank you, Jack

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This year, I'm running the Great North 10K and The Great North Run for the second time.
If you supported me last year, thank you — together we raised £1652 for the RNLI.
That was enough money to train a new Lifeboat crew member for a year.
This time, I'm fundraising for my local crew at Tynemouth, a busy Lifeboat station protecting the North Sea coast (check out the photo in the gallery).
I've doubled my target in an effort to raise even more and I need your support to do that!
Here's how your donation could help the Tynemouth Lifeboat crew:
• £16 will pay for a pair of gloves;
• £25 will pay for a week's training for a lifeboat crew member;
• £42 will pay for a pair of sea boots;
• £53 will pay for a safety line.
All donations of any size are really appreciated — as ever, the motivation of raising money for the RNLI is really helping to spur me on further.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
