Story
Hello, I am Jack and I am currently in Y7 at school. Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page for Hope House. I have been supporting Hope House for a number of years through fundraising events, taking donations to their charity shop, and also trying to raise public awareness for this amazing local charity!
I am asking everyone on Friday 28th May to come dressed to school, work, home, on Zoom in the colours of the rainbow or with butterflies on their clothes to raise money for Hope House, a charity based in Shropshire. Hope House cares for babies, children and young people up to the age of 25 years who have life-threatening conditions and are not expected to live beyond 25 years of age.
I have already raised money for Hope House through a previous Christmas event I held at school, raising over £350.00. Lockdown inspired me to think of new fundraising ideas. The rainbow colours are to symbolise, 'Hope and butterflies as a symbol of life, change, endurance and especially HOPE.
So I'm asking for your help to support the children and young adults and donate directly to Hope House and provide help for those in our immediate community.
