London Marathon 2018 · 22 April 2018 ·
At the tender age of 55, I will be taking part in my first (and last!!) London Marathon to raise money for Arthritis Research UK. Arthritis is the most common cause of pain and disability in the UK, with osteoarthritis alone affecting over 8 million people.
Many will know my husband continues to suffer from this painful condition and has previously required multiple hip replacements. In addition, I also have other members of family and some very close friends who suffer from this debilitating disease.
As a sufferer from the condition too, this will be a HUGE challenge for me, but as an event that I have wanted to complete for many years, I aim to jog the 26.2 miles (or at least most of it!).
Any donations are greatly appreciated and will help fund future research.
Thank you for your support :)
