Story
I finally got a ballot place in this year's London Marathon after 9 years of trying! I want to really make it count so have decided to try and raise some money for the Stroke Association. I lost my darling dad to a stroke 7 years ago and it still hurts - I want to do something to help those families whose loved ones survive a stroke, help them rebuild their lives together
When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community. With more donations and support from you, we can rebuild even more lives.
Huge thank you for sponsoring me and keeping my dad's memory alive xx
