Tragically, we never knew how much we would need the Pilgrims Hospice until our lives changed forever this year when we lost our special mum. The staff were all amazing and ensured mum was comfortable and pain free as soon as she arrived there. They couldn't save her but they cared about her and gave her the dignity and respect she so deserved.

Nothing I can do can bring my mum back but what I can do is help to raise money for a charity which will always be special to me now.

Pilgrims is a charity which relies on donations in order to offer such a personal level of care at a time when families need it the most. So I will be swapping my Moonwalk bra for my pyjamas and walking 10k around the streets of Ashford with some very special people who were there every step of the way for me.
