Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page which is dedicated to Bunny Newman who fell asleep on 5 January 2020, aged 88.

Bunny was best known for Avicraft where he worked with his family.  He made many many friends all over the world through his great knowledge of the flying and model industry. He gave youngsters their first Saturday job and encouraged them with the sport.

He enjoyed fishing and could be found on many a river bank in his spare time. A beloved Father, Granddad, Great grandad, Brother-in-Law and last but not least Uncle Bun to many nephews and nieces.  He loved children and was Uncle or Grandad to many children who he was proud to say had adopted him and who have since grown up and have great memories of him.  He was always willing to help anyone and gave to many charities throughout his life.

With his laughter, his smiles, hugs and famous tickly moustache, he will be missed by so many of his family and friends,  but he left us all with so many memories.

Bunny expressed a wish for donations to this charity and to help find a cure for Alzheimers and Dementia.
