However fortunate we have been, we are all just one stroke of bad luck away from homelessness. 

We feel so privileged to have such lovely family homes and to have had such a great start in life. We know that all our  family and friends would be there for us to support and help us should we need it,  so we can't imagine not having that love and care that so many live without.

When we see people on the streets, so cold, sad and lonely it breaks our hearts and we just cannot believe that this is still such an issue on our doorstep. 

There are so many good causes we would love to support but ultimately it's such a basic human need which we should all have a right to have a roof over our heads and a bed to sleep in. To be living in such an affluent country and live in this materialistic society, how can we turn our backs on our neighbour's who have nothing!!! 

Crisis are the National Charity for Homeless people who help people directly out of homelessness and the campaign for the changes needed to solve it all together.  Last year they helped more than 11,000 people on their journey out of homelessness. This charity is doing a fantastic job and truly making a difference to thousands of lives.
