Hospice care eases the physical and emotional pain of death and dying. Letting people focus on living, right until the end. But too many people miss out on this essential care. Hospice UK fights for hospice care for all who need it, for now and forever.

Story

Thank you for visiting our Just Giving page in memory of Peter Bridges. It is his family's hope, rather than sending flowers, that people will consider donating to one of two charities in Peter's memory.

Peter spent his last two weeks on the Macmillan Palliative Care Unit at Frenchay Hospital - which closes in May 2014. The expertise and care of the doctors and nurses there meant that he had his family around him and a peaceful death. We think everyone who needs it has the right to excellent palliative and end-of-life care and want to support Help the Hospices in the campaigning work they do.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the love and support we have received over the last few weeks. Peter will live on in our hearts and memories forever.
