Every two hours someone in the UK is paralysed by a spinal cord injury. It can happen to anyone at any time and no one is prepared for how it will change their life. Aspire is a national charity that provides practical help, supporting spinal cord injured people from injury to independence.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Sunday 22nd September 2019, Jack will raising money for Aspire by swimming from England to The Isle of Wight.

No mean feat in itself, however Jack is only 13 years old!

The swim itself is around 3 miles through some of the busiest shipping lanes in the world! The swim itself should take between 60-100 minutes, depending on currents and the wakes of the huge tankers that will be active throughout!

Jack and the team with him, all of this age have been preparing for nearly a year for this swim and have a pretty intensive summer training programme of sea swims all over the South West.

Aspire is an amazing charity helping people with spinal injuries live independent lives. So please give generously not only for the charity, but for the incredible challenge that he is hoping to complete!

Thank you all so much!
