250 miles. 3 day ride. Substantial inclines. Sore arses. 

In search for a challenge, we ended at our own door step - The Saints Foundation. 

Whilst looking to challenge ourselves this year, Tom and I both signed up to this year’s Saints Foundation Big Bike Challenge, which is mammoth journey covering 250 miles across three days. It starts at Huddersfield’s John Smith’s Stadium and will finish in time for our home game against them at St Mary’s on Sunday 12^th May.

In doing so, we realised that while we often support the Foundation in our roles at work, we had never really seen the true impact of the brilliant work the team do, in the local community and beyond, first hand. We decided that if we were going to take the challenge on, we needed to see this up close so we had more of a connection to the charity and some people in mind to keep us going through the hard yards!

We recently visited a local school where sessions are run for children with complex Special Educational Needs and Physical Difficulties in Southampton. We got to see how much the time the Foundation spend there and how this enriches their lives – we even helped out ourselves!

This made the challenge all the more poignant for us and
