My good friend David Fraser and I are cycling from Lands end to John O Groats in April 2020. We are planning to do it in 9 days covering approximately 110 miles per day. We are lucky enough to have Gary Muir supporting us the whole way in a Volkswagen Transporter Campervan.
David and I are undertaking this journey to really emphasise the importance of speaking out when dealing with a mental health challenge.
David and I have had our own battles in recent times. Through speaking about the issues we have faced we have benefitted greatly and found people have then opened up to us about some of the MH issues they have been dealing with
We are also attempting to promote the importance of exercising and the positive impact it can have on a person when mentally unwell.
We will be organising a number of fundraising events before the event including a dance on the 21st December in Marybank Hall. Keep an eye on Facebook for further info.
