We support people in the Harrogate district to live with terminal illness & bereavement

Story

In October I’m taking part in a Sahara  Trek and community project for the fantastic Saint Michae'ls Hospice It would be brilliant if you could support me on my challenge as the more I raise, the more people it’s going to help.

Saint Michael's exists to ensure local people get the end of life care they want, need and deserve. They believe everyone in the Harrogate district and surrounding areas should be offered the choice of quality end of life care, regardless of the illness they are living with or the place from which they are receiving care. So please give generously, your money could be used for:

£5 provides essential medical supplies to ease a patient’s symptoms, helping to reduce suffering and improving their quality of life.

£10 creates a “First Aid for Feelings Kit” for children, including worry dolls, stress balls, books and other materials to help them after the death of someone important with terminal illness.

£50 could help a person living with Lymphoedema to benefit from an appointment with one of our specialist team.

About the charity

Saint Michael’s is the local hospice care charity ensuring people affected by terminal illness can access high quality, personalised care. We help thousands of local people each year and make no charge. Each year we must raise £7 million to provide our range of services.
