During the pandemic Captain Tom stepped up to support the NHS Covid-19 by taking on his famous walk and inspiring millions to donate. We are offering the chance to raise funds in the spirit of Captain Tom for the charity of your choice.

Story

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a catastrophic effect on charities, with the cancellation of thousands of events and the loss of billions in income. At a time when vulnerable members of society need them most, charities have had to cut services, furlough staff and some have even shut down. It has been predicted that nearly half of small international development charities like Play Action International will no longer be operational at the end of the year.

Captain Tom stepped up to help, taking on his famous walk to support the NHS Covid-19 appeal and inspiring millions to donate to the cause. I will be celebrating the extraordinary spirit of Captain Tom my way and help my chosen charity.

Please donate what you can, just the price of a morning coffee (£5) can provide the world’s most vulnerable and disadvantaged children in refugee settlements across East Africa with a games set for them to access a childhood and a brighter future that they deserve.

Thank you!

Jack
