During this difficult time in lockdown, charities that are focused on mental health support have become critically important. Anxiety, loneliness, stress and panic are just a few types of problems that are becoming increasingly more common and which almost everybody is experiencing, myself included. I'm a veteran of anxiety and absolutely understand how people are feeling all around the world. Mind UK are working hard to support vulnerable or struggling people across our island.
So, since I'm stuck inside for the time being I thought I'd make it more productive by exercising for my own positive mental health whilst raising some money for an excellent charity.
I will be using an exercise bike to cycle 874 miles (1407km) - the exact distance by road from Lands End (most South-Westerly point of the UK) to John O'Groats (most North-Easterly point of the UK) in 14 days.
I will start on the 1st of May and if all goes to plan I'll be finished on the 14th May and will update you all daily!
