Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

In December 2019 my Mum passed away at the age of 52, after 20 years of living with Multiple Sclerosis.

Over 130,000 people in the UK live with multiple sclerosis. For some, research has found treatments. But too many people still don’t have anything to stop their MS getting worse, and some don’t have any treatments at all.

Myself and University Friends have organised this event to raise money for The MS Society going towards increased research and treatment for this illness. This will be on the 5th of February 2022 at 13:30PM at Abbeydale sports Club, Sheffield for 24 Hours.

Badminton has been a big part of my life, meaning my Mum had watched countless hours of the sport and travelled the country watching me in tournaments, never complaining after long 12 hour days sat in a sports hall. This is why we decided to choose a Badminton event to raise money.

We'd really appreciate it if people could come and play and donate to our cause- we have many people already involved from different universities. Sharing the fundraiser on Facebook and Instagram would also be an amazing help too!
