Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am an 18 year-old Ambassador for the Holocaust Educational Trust, having visited Auschwitz-Birkenau with the charity in November 2016. I have written and performed a song, ‘One Day’, for the HET, and write a column for the Jewish News about the importance of Holocaust Remembrance and tackling anti-semitism.

The Holocaust started with words - when hatred and intolerance became the norm, and were not challenged - and  yet mere words alone cannot defend today’s Jewish community from rising levels of hatred in increasingly public spheres. All of us - all sections of society - must both speak out against this hatred, and act on what we know is right.

The HET works tirelessly to commemorate the lives lost in the Holocaust, and to promote a more understanding, historically aware and tolerant future.

Although I am a keen runner, this will be my first half marathon. I am proud to be an Ambassador for such a fantastic cause, and am hugely grateful for all of the support you can give.
