Story

Hello there

It’s time for us to raise some money for Cancer Research UK (woo!)

Instead of running in circles around London dressed as a cow (and killing all the jokes about ‘mootivation'), I am going to stop eating food for 5 days. Water and green tea only.

Why? Partly this will be ironic considering I run a food and drink website. And partly it will be a fun experiment on the human body that *you* will hopefully find enlightening and entertaining.

With that in mind, I'll keep an account of what it is like, and post some before and after photos.

NOTE: just in case anyone is worried for my health: I am *not* new to fasting and 5 days is not really a very long time to go without food (in the grand scheme of things). As you may know, people have been doing this stuff for millennia - and in fact, I have read accounts of others (recently) going up to 28 days, and longer. But 5 is enough for me, for now...

So, with all that out the way... I implore you: please be generous - please be generous so that we may ALL one day live *without* the shadow of cancer looming over us, and our loved ones.

A world without cancer is possible, and it's up to all of us to help make it happen. We deserve it, after all!

Please give what you can, and thank you so much.

Love
- J

PS: The fast begins on the morning of 2nd November. Let's dooooo this!
