Story

The Three Generations:

Jack Murdoch, a retired Managing Director & former Financial Director of Irvine New Town, now 78 years +.

Dr Fiona Murdoch (Jack's daughter), works in the Dalry Medical Practice.

Kirsty Harper (Fiona's daughter), is in 6th year at St Columba's, Kilmacolm.

We decided to run together to attract giving for the Macmillan Cancer Support charity. It provides essential support to cancer sufferers and their carers when most needed.

Jack has run in various marathons, Fiona in a triathlon and Kirsty in cross country and other events for school and clubs.

Previous causes include Ayrshire Hospice, RSPB, Oxfam and a Christian hospital, Pakistan.

Close relatives and friends have and are suffering from cancer.
