Story
Hi folks,
Over the last year I have always wanted to help the lives of others by setting myself a personal fitness challenge. For me it was a simple decision in choosing to raise funds for a charity which impacts my family and I most at this current time - Alzheimer’s Scotland. They are Scotland’s national charity in tackling Dementia ensuring families do not battle this horrible condition on their own alongside funding vital Dementia Research.
Over the month of April I will be attempting to run 10km a day every day, from April 1st to April 30th, a combined 300km for all you keen mathematicians. It is the absolute least I can do compared to the daily battle families face in coping with the effects of Dementia. I’ll be posting regularly through social media to make sure you guys get your money’s worth in seeing the struggles that I face throughout.
I am well aware that I am a 1 in 1,000,000 case and everyone has their own charities to be donating to at this present moment in time. Any small donation or even liking, sharing or reposting to raise awareness would mean so much to myself and my family.
Big love,
Jack.
