Story
5,000 metres is over three miles. Some people my age struggle to walk that far.
Call me crazy, as I am 64 and I have been advised to have a full medical check beforehand, but after 11 years and two knee replacements I have accepted this challenge again. Hopefully I can manage the whole 5,000 metres and I have been training for several months but whatever happens I will do my best. Over the last few days it has taken me over an hour to swim 2,000 metres. I suspect I will be swimming non-stop for nearly three hours!
Please do support me. Every little helps.
Thank you.
Jack
