The reason for I am fundraising is because my mum had struggles with epilepsy for about 5 years. She sadly passed away in 2015 and has left a massive hole in my life.

She suffered daily and it changed her from being the life and soul of the party to someone who relied on the support of others. She had just started to get back to herself when she was taken from us.

The walk I am doing, alongside other events is important as it involves two places that mean so much to me and meant so much to her. Upper Slaughter was where she used to walk to clear her head and St Ives was our last family holiday and a place we had planned to return to.
