Great North Run 2022 · 11 September 2022 ·
On Sunday 11 September, I'll be lacing up my trainers and taking on the iconic Great North Run, covering the 13.1 miles from Newcastle to South Shields to raise vital funds for North East Autism Society!
I have witnessed first hand through my young Nephew the challanges having austism throws at you, not only for George, but for his parents and surrounding family. George is one in a million, mad as a box of frogs and extremely loving. Luckily George has the help he needs through the Fellgate Autistic Unit and through his extremely loving and devoted parents and grandparents.
This is why i decided this year i wanted to run the GNR for NEAS...
For more than 40 years, North East Autism Society has led the way in providing autism-specific care and education for children and young people across the North East of England. NEAS passionately believes that autistic children and young adults have significant skills and strengths, which can be developed throughout their lifetime.
With your help i would like to raise £400+ to help towards making sure children like George and other young people across the North East continue to get the support they need to develop into wonderful adults.
Thank you for your support!
Jack
