Story

On October 3rd I will be attempting the Cardiff Half Marathon and I have teamed up with City Hospice to raise what I can for a good cause. With short legs and a love for beer, I wouldn’t say running has always been my forte. However, I will be tackling this challenge in memory of my lovely nan, Kay Herbert, and all those who have suffered from life limiting illnesses.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Did you know City Hospice is the only provider of home-based specialist palliative care in the capital? Their services are provided free of charge, meaning the charity needs to raise more than £1.5 million each year to ensure they can keep sending their nurses out into the local community. City Hospice is at the heart of Cardiff, providing end of life care to patients in the local community. With your support, we can continue to provide specialist palliative care to people at home, offer welfare advice to those who need it, and counselling for loved ones.
