Story

I am running the London Marathon 2024 for Leukemia Care!  Blood Cancer is something my family has been directly affected by this year losing our Grandad Charles (Papa) A lot of people seem to think they have the best grandparents…but for me and my two brothers (Harry and Charlie) we actually did! Our Papa was an interesting and quirky man who had time for anybody. Funny and friendly, he had a joke for anyone who would listen! There was no in between, he would either be dressed to the nines armed with a shirt and bow tie or crocs and shorts knee deep in his beloved garden. Most people know however for those who don't... I am also a very keen runner myself and in June this year I set myself a challenge of running every day for a year! I’m nearly there at 320 days straight. I’m looking forward to adding the London Marathon as a core memory of the challenge! I feel very lucky and proud to raise money for this great cause that unfortunately we all to know well.

Lots of love

Jack
