Dear Family and Friends

I want to thank you all for supporting me since I created my web page last February. I have really enjoyed my Training and completing the Ben Nevis Challenge and I shall always remember my experience of ' Ben' with a sense of gratitude and excitement.

Thank you for your fantastic support and for making it possible for me to raise funds for Breast Cancer Care.  I appreciate your kindness and generosity very much.

I shall treasure your messages. They really mean a lot to me.

Climbing Ben Nevis was and is about my spiritual journey for my precious daughter, Leonie and for the memory of my son, Carl.

I enjoyed the challenge and the hurricane force winds of up to 80mph and the relentless rain took us to the edge of our resilience and vulnerability. The raw, primitive energy of the mountain was inspiring as we climbed for several hours.

Each step on the rocky terrain was a measured one, demanding focus, concentration and team work.

You have made a huge difference to Breast Cancer Care.

Have a wonderful and joyous Christmas and stay curious in 2009 !
