Jace is 4 years old and is running the Mini Simplyhealth Great South Run to help raise money towards his operation!
Jace was born with Cerebral Palsy.
Due to the CP affecting Jace’s legs, he cannot walk or stand unaided and may become wheelchair bound when he is older. His leg muscles are very stiff which causes him pain and can only be manged by rigorous physio multiple times a day, medication or Botox.
Jace is able to have SDR surgery which is not available on the NHS.
This surgery will enable Jace to walk and stand unaided as well as preventing him becoming wheelchair bound in the future. We need to raise £40,000 within two years (to prevent further surgery) for Jace to be able to have this operation!
This run is 1.5k (1 mile) long, Please support Jace on his run. All support is hugely appreciated!
