I have joined up with this team to raise money for the children's rainbow ward. It's already a difficult time for both parents and children when a young one falls ill, and the ward gives them the opportunity to stay with them while they are going through an observation period. Being able to comfort your child while they are scared and weak is an invaluable gift to families.

I am also doing this ride because I wanted to push myself to do something I have never done before. I often talk about doing things I've never done, but most of those adventures only required a bit of money and some extra courage. This challenge has pushed me to train harder, push past mental barriers, and focus on a cause that is worthy of all the effort. The total ride is 270 miles over 3 days, and I will be joining 90-180 miles of it. 

I've honestly been too scared to post till now, fearing that I would not actually go through with it. So here I am, just days before the ride, and I'm telling myself to do it. Any contributions to this cause would be greatly appreciated.
