Story
September 29th 2021 - I’ll never forget the day I received a Breast Cancer diagnosis. There are not many things more terrifying than hearing the word ‘cancer’, but sadly 1 in 2 people will receive this diagnosis sometime in their life.
After making a full recovery from breast cancer, I am now strong enough (hopefully!) to run the London Marathon, my first marathon and a huge challenge for me.
This would not be possible without the amazing team of research scientists and the NHS staff who conducted my operation and radiotherapy which is why I’m fundraising for Cancer Research Wales and feel honoured to be part of the Cancer Research Team.
Thank you for reading my story. Please consider donating to help bring forward the day when all cancer patients receive happy endings.
