Story
Having got up to 15 miles in the training last year before it was cancelled, I’d be lying if I said I was looking forwards to doing it all again. But here we are! We’ll also be running the Vitality Half Marathon at the end of August, forcing us to commit to the training!
And thank you so much to everyone who donated last year!

Soooo, in April (* now October 2021) my sister and I will be running the London Marathon, I know lol.
As lots of you know neither my sister nor I are the athletic type and after running a half marathon about 5 years ago, I vowed never to do that again. But here I am, committing to run double that... I haven’t run over 6 miles since and so I know this is going to be a BIG FAT challenge. But I really hope it’ll be worth it.
With this year marking the 10th anniversary of my Grandad’s passing I will be running the 26.2 miles for the Multiple Sclerosis Society, in memory of him. He suffered with MS for over 35 years, but despite this he had an inspiring attitude towards life and his way of coping with the disease- something I hope never to forget. He was hugely passionate about sport and I’m sure it came as a big disappointment to him that neither Rosie nor I shared his enthusiasm! Hopefully in running this we will be redeeming ourselves somewhat!
