Magpas is a charity for emergency medical services in the East of England. 

The Magpas Helimedix is regularly the most used Air Ambulance in the East of England.

Magpas has attended to over 50,000 patients since it became a registered charity in 1972.

Currently, it costs £750,000 per year to provide this lifesaving service, completely funded by charity.

Magpas Helimedix consists of over 50 medical professionals, who provide over £3 million worth of front line emergency medical cover to the East of England. 

From their base in Huntingdonshire they are able to respond rapidly to any medical emergency in the region.

By road they can respond in their emergency vehicles to anywhere in Cambridgeshire within 30 minutes. By helicopter they can get to virtually anywhere in the East of England within 30 minutes. 

These quick response times can be the difference between life and death.
