Story

Last year Izaac climbed 978m to the top of Scafell Pike. This year, he is taking on the 1085m to the top of Snowdon. We will be choosing the best day to hike between April 19th and 24th, going via the more challenging pyg track route and back along the miner's track. This is approximately 7.5 miles of hiking for the little legs of a 7 year old. He was really pleased to raise over £300 last year for Rowan's Hospice and has set a personal target this year of £500. He has chosen to support the Ukraine crisis appeal.

In the words of a 7 year old: 'The people from Ukraine are being bullied. They need our help because the bullies are destroying their houses. We need to help them get food, water and shelter'. Please support Izaac in his effort to raise money for this cause.

Intense conflict in Ukraine is threatening the lives and livelihoods of civilians across the country, causing hundreds of thousands to flee. Homes have been destroyed or are unsafe to live in. Essential services have been hit. Families have been separated. People have been injured. Lives have been lost.DEC charities and their local partners are in Ukraine and across the border in the neighbouring countries. They are working to meet the immediate needs of all people fleeing with food, water, medical assistance, protection and trauma care.£30 could provide essential hygiene supplies for three people for one month£50 could provide blankets for 4 families to keep them warm£100 could provide emergency food for two families for one month
