Story
If there is a worthwhile consequence of trying to do something that at first sounded ridiculous, for me anyway, then let's get on with it.
I don't think I've participated in anything where I've been the one trying to raise any money since the 80s and so give me a go....a rare opportunity.
An event like this, aside from any money raising, is a focus for awareness raising, a sharing of a collective misery that cancer induces for all of us at points throughout our lives and a reminder to give our own bodies a bit of self respect - give yourself a better chance.

Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page. This September, I’m raising money at Shine Night Walk to help Cancer Research UK fund its life-saving work.
Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years.
But we can’t stop there.
Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
Gift Aid
If you are a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box when donating as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no cost to you.
Sleep can wait. Beating cancer can’t.
