In Honour of my Mum Mrs Ana-Maria (Pederzolli) Sidoli
This year Rob as given up the opportunity to travel to Madrid and instead will be doing London Trek26 with me in double fast time so he can get to Tottenham’s White Hart Lane to watch some little football match called the Champions League Final!!!
Over the last 11 years me, my brother and our families have lost our vibrant, funny, kind, and lovely, lovely mum and Nonna, to Alzheimer’s, her deterioration is so advanced now that she doesn’t know us, she can’t hear, can’t speak or see the only thing she can do now for herself is breath. Research is to late for our mum and the kindest thing for our beautiful mum is for God to let her fall asleep.
But I do know that with a lot of help and determination research will one day create a treatment that will allow us all to live our later years independently and to the full.
I want my children, grandchildren and great grandchildren not to go through the heart ache and pain my mum and our family have and are still going through.
To be honest i'm not really good at ‘asking for money' but because I’ve lived through such sad and heartbreaking events, I feel that on this occasion its OK.
If anyone can spare a couple of pounds for this organisation it really would be much appreciated. Xxxx
