Story
The past few months have been tough for everyone, but coronavirus has hit people affected by dementia the hardest and continues to disrupt lives. So that's why I'm taking on Step Up for Dementia alongside my colleagues across the insurance industry to walk 10,000 steps a day. In my case I am doing the long form version for 3 months with a total step target minimum of 850,000. Please donate to support me and ensure Alzheimer's Society can be there for the people who need them most. Far too many people, for far too long, have had no option but to face dementia alone. Every pound raised makes a real difference.
- Just £20 pays for 34 Dementia Guides – a lifeline to people who are newly diagnosed with dementia
- Donating £50 means over 300 people can access Talking Point, our online safe space, where a trouble shared can become a trouble halved
- £96 supports a telephone-based Dementia Adviser for one day. Dementia Advisers are experts at providing information, offering guidance and directly supporting people affected by dementia and can act as a lifeline
I have been involved in the Industry campaign for this cause for 3 years now, and am continually bowled over by the commitment and passion of the Alzheimer's Society team with whom we work.
Thank you for helping me make a real difference!
