Hey Kids!

So this year me and my Ma have decided to get amongst the charidee goodness and we're going to be actually quiet for 12 WHOLE HOURS!! No talking, at all. A portion of the money raised for Red Nose Day goes towards helping those with mental health issues, and as you all know this is a subject close to my heart, as I am currently studying mental health nursing.

We have plans to ensure we don't fail, I'll be spending the day with Mum at her workplace, so you can be sure we won't just sit by ourselves at home chatting all day. We have post-it notes to explain to people why we're blanking them, and facebook/texting will not be allowed to make it more of a challenge.

I know the idea of us not talking is the stuff that dreams are made of for most of you. As we're such shy and retiring wallflowers, this will be a real achievement.

So please pretty please cough up your pennies. No matter how small the sponsor, it will all be hugely appreciated. Although it has to be real money...Monopoly money and sweets do not count.

For the sadists amongst you, I will give regular updates regarding my levels of frustration throughout the day at not being able to chat absolute rubbish to all and sundry.
